Main Purpose
Due to significant turnover growth, Guncast Swimming Pools are looking to appoint a new service engineer to strengthen and complement the existing team. The company operates within the luxury swimming pool sector both domestic and commercial, with offices in West Sussex and Oxfordshire.
Key Duties
- Liaising/ interacting with clients and or housekeepers
- Weekly / fortnightly servicing of indoor and outdoor swimming pools and all associated plant
- Checking correct operation of equipment in the plant room and in pool hall including automatic covers
- Carrying out water sample testing
- Small maintenance works / alterations / plumbing
- Opening up / closing down outdoor pools at the beginning / end of the season
- Manual and automatic chemistry correction and associated maintenance of automatic dosing equipment or treatment plant
- Maintenance of air handling / treatment plant
Attributes / Qualifications
- Previous experience in swimming pool servicing
- To be well presented
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to communicate detailed and accurate information
- Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external
- Full clean driving licence
Additional Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Experience in automatic chemical dosing systems
- ISPE qualification (or equivalent)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic understanding of electrics
- London driving experience
- Pool construction and or plumbing experience
- Electrical experience
