MAIN PURPOSE:

UK-based  Guncast Group specialises in the design, construction, installation and maintenance of luxury swimming pools and wellness facilities. Our projects push boundaries in design, style, and innovation – and we’re looking for vibrant new talent to join our growing team here in Petworth.

With offices in West Sussex, Oxfordshire and West Byfleet, we operate nationally on a range of diverse projects, at the very highest end of the market.

We are looking to appoint a motivated design technician to provide support to the design and sales team, by bringing ideas to life for our clients and project teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a creative, supportive, and buzzing design office where no two days are the same.

Some UK and overseas travel may be required.


KEY DUTIES:

  • Preparation of CAD design project drawing packages.
  • Preparation of builders’ work and service schedules.
  • Preparation of design risk assessments.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc design work as required.
  • Attend internal and external design meetings and liaise confidently and proactively with end clients, architects, engineers, and interior designers.
  • Liaison with the sales and delivery team.
  • General office administration as required.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Qualification and experience in CAD (Autocad). Revit would be beneficial
  • Knowledge / previous experience within the construction industry is preferable.
  • A formal industry qualification, e.g., an HND or CIOB, would be beneficial.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural technical drawings and schematics.
  • Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
  • Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external.
  • Swimming pool design knowledge is preferable but not essential as training will be given.
