Guncast takes on Race to the Sun for charity

Home > Latest Articles > Guncast takes on Race to the Sun for charity

This spring, the Guncast Pools & Wellness team is stepping up to a major challenge for a great cause. On 25th April 2026, a group of colleagues from across the business will take on Race to the Sun, an endurance event set against the dramatic clifftops of the iconic Seven Sisters on England’s south coast. Teams of two or four will bike, hike and paddle their way across the landscape, racing not just each other, but the clock.

So why this event?
For us, it’s local, it’s meaningful, and it allows us to reignite a tradition we’ve always valued: completing a team challenge in support of charity. It also reflects the wider ethos of the Kohler family of brands, including the KLAFS Group, to which Guncast belongs, a commitment to giving back and supporting community initiatives.

Our goal is to raise £6,000, and we’re proud to have a cross departmental team taking part including Dave Williams, Russell Landy, Beth Luckett, and CEO of KLAFS UK (Guncast Pools & Wellness) Andy Carr.

We’re also thrilled to say that Jack Harding, original owner of Guncast, is joining the team for this special challenge.
Together, we’re ready to push ourselves, support a great cause, and make this a standout moment for Guncast and the KLAFS group in 2026.

Support the Team
