School For Life UK – Latest Updates

School for Life UK is an incredible charity that is dedicated to raising funds to provide private education for children living in slums in the Chhetru area of Dharamsala, Northern India.

Though small in size, School for Life continues to make a big difference to children who, under normal circumstances, would not have the opportunity to attend school.

Proudly supported by Guncast Pools & Wellness

Guncast is proud to support School For Life UK and helps provide educational opportunities to children facing the challenges of life in the slums.

Guncast CEO, Jack Harding, is a trustee for School For Life UK and teamed up with Howard Childs to start the charity after a visit to India in 2017. Nearly 3 years later, Jack has just returned from his annual trip to Kangra Valley School, where the children attend.

As part of the learning incentive at the school, Jack was pleased to award 9-year-old Gourav Kumar ‘Pupil of the Year’ for his continued hard work and dedication. Gourav dreams of one day becoming a doctor and was given a Guncast iPad to help him along with his studies.

A brighter future for underprivileged children

School for Life UK currently helps 12 children, aged 4 – 14, through their daily education. The aim is to support the children onwards through university so that they can excel in life, benefitting themselves, their families and the wider community.

Get involved and help make education accessible for children like Gourav

Your support to help School For Life UK continue their amazing work providing educational facilities and equipment for the children of Dharamsala is greatly appreciated. Supporting one child for a year costs approximately £300, so all contributions are welcome.
