The Guncast Groovers do the Ben Nevis Challenge in Support of DEBRA

Last weekend, on the 17th June 2017, not one but 2 teams of the Guncast Groovers took to the stunning Scottish Highlands to take part in the arduous yet exhilarating Ben Nevis Challenge.

The Ben Nevis Challenge is an exciting team challenge set in the stunning Scottish Highlands. Teams of four are challenged to climb Ben Nevis, cycle 25 miles through the countryside and canoe a 2k course on Loch Lochy. Ben Nevis stands tall at an impressive 1,345m high and it the UK’s highest mountain – so The Guncast Groovers certainly had their work cut out for them this fun-filled day.

Even more important than the incredible experience and personal challenge that Jack Harding (Managing Director), Andy Carr (Design & Commercial Director ), Stuart Overington (Sales Director), David Page (Project Manager), Gareth Childs (Contracts Manager), David Williams (Project Manager), Ian Webster (Project Manager) and Dan Malkoun (Employment Advisor) took part for is the cause. The Guncast Groovers managed to raise over £5,000 for the worthy cause, DEBRA – the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

To donate to this very noble cause, please follow this link.  Monetary gifts not only help to make a real difference to those living with EB, today, they enable DEBRA to plan their future investment in EB research to find effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure for EB.
