Guncast is thrilled to announce the great results from this year’s UK Pool & Spa Awards that took place earlier this week at The Vox, NEC.

Up against some brilliant competition, the Guncast team took home an amazing total of five certificates that each recognise a fantastic project that the team have completed throughout 2018:

Winner! – Residential Outdoor Pool of the Year (Over £120k)

Guncast is pleased to have won the Residential Outdoor Pool of the Year category with this stunning beach-front swimming pool and outdoor relaxation area. Created by our expert pool designers, the pool features a breath-taking infinity edge that overlooks the English Channel. Finished with sophisticated dark grey porcelain tiles that beautifully mirror the glass elevations of the main house. This was a brilliant project for the Guncast team to work on and we are excited to have won in this category.

Gold Standard – School Pool of the Year

Guncast claimed the Gold Standard award in the School Pool of the Year category for their expert work on a project earlier this year. Our talented team designed a completely new swimming pool for Rose Hill School in Kent that met the brief and was delivered in time. This contemporary pool combines natural light with uncomplicated finish textures to provide a calm, comfortable and efficient environment for children and clubs alike. We are pleased to be recognised for our hard work throughout 2018.

Gold Standard – Residential Indoor Pool of the Year

Guncast created this stunning indoor wellness facility featuring a luxury swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, heated loungers and experience shower. Completed with a glass fronted steam room and a beautiful Kelo Wood sauna, this impressive project has been one of our favourites this year and we are pleased to have won the Gold Standard award for this category.

Gold Standard – Commercial Pool Project of the Year

Guncast received Gold Standard for this impressive commercial swimming pool that was expertly designed to serve as a school pool during the day and a facility to host external pool clubs during the evenings, weekend and holidays.

Guncast also designed and installed the pool filtration and water treatment plant, the main pool hall and viewing gallery H&V systems and the changing room H&V system.

Bronze Standard – Health and Wellness Project of the Year

Guncast has been awarded Bronze Standard for this tranquil wellness area in Cheltenham. This premium wellness area features a hydrozone with dual stainless-steel neck massage units, a hydromassage bench and Guncast’s signature ‘Hot Seat’ elegantly designed into a compact vitality pool. The facility also includes a sauna and a steam room expertly installed by Guncast.

Guncast is pleased with the outcome of this year’s UK Pool & Spa Awards and we are looking forward to taking part again in 2019.
