Guncast was delighted to receive three awards at the 2021 UK Pool and Spa Awards on Monday 13 December. Guncast Pools and Wellness was voted as the winner of the Overseas Commercial Pool of the Year Award for a community pool project at the Stanley Leisure Centre, on the Falkland Islands. This was a hugely important renovation of a swimming pool that serves the entire community, and a project Guncast is proud to have been part of. Speaking about the project to Falklands radio at the time, Barry Elsby, MLA and Portfolio Lead for Development and Commercial Services, said: “We brought in high-quality professionals from the UK who specialise in building pools and renovating pools. Guncast was our chosen contractor. They have carried out an absolutely immaculate piece of work here and the way they worked was exemplary.” Guncast Pools and Wellness was also awarded the Gold Standard in both Luxury Pool of the Year Award and Residential Outdoor Pool of the Year (over £150k) Award for two stunning residential outdoor swimming pool projects in Essex and the Cotswolds, respectively. Design Project Manager at Guncast, Benoit Berbain attended the event to collect the awards. He said “It was a great evening with a fine selection of categories across multidisciplines within the pool and spa industry.
