Indoor Infinity Edge Pool Project Overview
This indoor pool design and build project for a private home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent highlights Guncast Pools & Wellness’ expertise in delivering bespoke residential swimming pools that balance architectural intent with advanced engineering. In collaboration with Aqua Blue Designs and Charles Knowles Design Ltd, the project exemplifies a considered approach to luxury home wellness environments.
The 14.3m indoor residential swimming pool features a deck-level system with a striking infinity edge and dual-sided perimeter overflow, creating a seamless visual connection between water and architecture. The rectangular pool design, enhanced by a dedicated step bay, provides both clean contemporary lines and practical usability, making it ideally suited for modern domestic settings.
Engineered for both relaxation and active use, this Tunbridge Wells swimming pool incorporates hydrotherapy seating, a counter-current system and a water cannon, delivering a versatile private wellness experience. Maintained at 29°C with a volume of approximately 100m³, the pool is optimal for 6 to 10 users.
Technical performance underpins the design. Advanced AFM filtration ensures exceptional water quality, supported by automated chemical dosing systems for efficient operation. A fully ducted heating and ventilation system manages humidity and air quality, while a Roldeck automatic pool cover enhances energy efficiency by reducing evaporation and heat loss.
