This gentle form of wellness cooling offers hotel and spa guests a particularly soothing interplay of heat and cold in a dream-like environment reminiscent of a serene winter wonderland, where the crisp chill of snowflakes meets the gentle warmth of a cosy cabin. The multi-sensory experience offers an immersive and therapeutic cooling therapy which can be tailored to customer preferences.
Unique Wellness Concept
FRIMAS is a revolutionary three-layer arctic cold therapy experience designed by KLAFS. This innovative product combines various forms of water, cutting-edge technologies, and aesthetic design to create a unique thermal spa experience.
The room can be fitted with KLAFS’ ice fountains, POLARIS or STALAGMITE, GLACIER ice wall, or HOLLI steam shower to create a unique and dynamic experience. FRIMAS has been designed with an intelligent air circulation system to optimise energy use, ensuring the cabin reaches near-freezing temperatures quickly and efficiently, whilst cooling the body slowly but effectively without putting too much strain on it.
Both the fountains and the snow shower can be customised to meet the specific needs and preferences of each guest, ensuring a truly personalised experience.
HOLLI Ice Steam Shower
The HOLLI ice steam shower transforms the ice steam room into a winter wonderland and offers an additional cold experience. It produces a natural flurry of snow at the touch of a button – without any harmful additives. The snow is produced from a snow shaft in the ceiling.
The POLARIS Ice Fountain
The POLARIS produces particularly smooth ice and granular, non-sharp-edged ice flakes that can be used to finely exfoliate the skin.
Optional colour-change lighting illuminates the ice fountain, making the ice crystals glitter and transforming your spa into a visual masterpiece.
GLACIER Ice Wall
The GLACIER ice wall, optionally with ice fog, creates an arctic experience with temperatures between 3 and 6 degrees Celsius. The walls can be fitted with one or more cooling elements. These cool the room constantly and at the same time ensure that ice forms from water running over the walls. The frozen surfaces create a wintery, cosy wall of ice. As the central element of the room, it conjures up a magical ice ambience and intensifies the cold effect.
The STALAGMITE Ice Fountain
The STALAGMITE is particularly easy, fast and cost-effective to install because it can be freestanding, for example, in a previously unused corner of the room. It only needs connections for water, wastewater and electricity. The STALAGMITE also offers a unique spectacle and is therefore entirely unique in today’s wellness market.
